Quality of Life: Many issues affect the quality of life in the 2nd District - graffiti, blight, trash pick-up, the upkeep of our alley system, public utility infrastructure, parking and much more. The investment we make in the city through our taxes should be reinvested in our neighborhoods.

Reduce Non-violent Crime: While violent crime is down, non-violent crimes such as car break-ins and vandalism remain high. Charles will promote a 24 hour turnaround on graffiti removal and continue with the successes of sector policing.

Quality Education: Audits of the school system made it clear there is money for many improvements. Charles will work with the schools to achieve fiscal responsibility. He believes we must be good stewards when it comes to education.
